About the Author

TOM COYNE is one of the most accomplished and influential golf writers of his generation. An award-winning, New York Times bestselling author, his books—including Paper Tiger, A Course Called Ireland, Scotland and America—have redefined the genre by blending travel writing, memoir and golf obsession into unforgettable narratives. “This is easily the finest physical product TGJ has ever created. Offering it as a member gift feels almost too generous.”

About the Artists

KOHJIRO KINNO is the Photo Editor at The Golfer’s Journal and arguably the best living sports photographer. He has captured historic moments across the biggest stages in the world—The Olympics, Super Bowls, World Series, NBA Finals and major golf championships. Since he took over TGJ’s photo department in 2018, Kinno’s ability to find quiet drama in motion and meaning in between the action has redefined the standard for golf photography.

About the Artists

CHRISTIAN HAFER has been a TGJ photographer since 2021, and his unique style has inspired an entirely new crop of golf visual artists. Hafer’s ability to blend classic techniques with punk rock taste has breathed new life into capturing an old game, and has led him to working on golf’s biggest stages and with its biggest names.

Each year, Premium members receive a custom, bespoke gift as thanks for their support of THE GOLFER’S JOURNAL. This year’s gift is QUIET, PLEASE—
an original book that took two years of meticulous craftsmanship to capture, curate and sew into one impressively hefty keepsake.

Quiet, Please
“We can marvel and maybe recall what we felt the first time we lifted a ball from the ground, the miracle of it, when we didn’t care where it went because we’d made that ball go—really go—and all we wanted was to make it happen again.”
Tom Coyne, from Quiet, Please
