Stunner in Nantucket

Sankaty Head Golf Club occupies the eastern edge of Nantucket, where the course runs hard against the Atlantic and the lighthouse anchors the view. Built in the early 1920’s by island native Emerson Armstrong, it’s one of the country’s rare true links, shaped for firm turf and the ground game rather than aerial golf. The course has been carefully restored in recent years, and it remains home to one of the last full-time caddie camps in the U.S. This will be the Broken Tee Society’s first visit to Sankaty Head, a rare chance to spend a full day at this proud throwback.
