An Irish Feast
The summer solstice—grianstad in Irish—has been a sacred day in Ireland dating back to pagan times, when Druids called on the sun’s power to ward off evil spirits and deliver an abundant harvest. The Broken Tee Society will soon be adding its own chapter to that history: 54 holes at the legendary links of Ballybunion.
Annually ranked among the world’s best layouts, the Old Course at Ballybunion is one of the most celebrated jewels in Ireland’s links golf crown. On June 21, we’ll play it twice, plus a bonus 18 at Ballybunion’s Cashen course. The Old is walking only, while the Cashen allows carts, should you need a lift to reach the finish line. Pints and Irish fare between rounds will keep you fortified for one of the longest—and best—golf days of our lives.

Registration Rules
- You must be a TGJ member to sign up for BTS Summer Solstice @ Ballybunion.
- Members can place reservation requests from Tuesday, October 3 at 9 a.m. ET to Monday, October 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
- We will select winners on October 12
- You may request up to four spots, but all guests must be active TGJ members.
- Singles are encouraged to place reservation requests. Singles will be randomly paired with groups.
- Submitting more than one request will not increase your chances of being chosen. Duplicates will be removed.
- Entries must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the notification email to avoid forfeiting your position in the event.
Yes, all guests must be active TGJ members. The best way to bring a non-member guest is to gift them a TGJ membership.
Yes, you will be paired with another BTS member at random.
If you have another person or team you’d like to be grouped with, please submit the request on the Guest Details form on the Players Room following your purchase.
Players of all skillsets and handicaps are welcome to register. We only ask you are respectful, have fun and keep up with the group ahead of you.
There will be double-bogey max scoring in place.
In the event you have questions or need to cancel, please email Events@golfersjournal.com. Refunds will only be given if the spot is able to be filled.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and payment plans through Affirm.

Pricing is per person. Refunds will only be permitted if the spot gets filled. Refunds will be given the registration amount, less 7% processing fees.
