Worcester

The Ryder Cup Original

Worcester Country Club sits in the heart of Massachusetts, and in September, it’s one of the finest settings in golf. Donald Ross routed 18 holes across the rolling hills west of Boston in 1914, and the club has spent more than a century putting them to good use. The 1925 U.S. Open was played here, but the moment that defined Worcester came in 1927, when it hosted the first Ryder Cup played on American soil. This September, the BTS makes its first visit for a Ryder Cup inspired event, including an 18-hole better ball match between Team Hagen vs. Team Ray. Join us for 27 holes of fall golf in New England, where the foliage is turning, the air has gone crisp, and there’s a lobster roll waiting with your name on it.
