One in 10,000
Among Minnesota’s endless glittering lakes, one stands above the rest for us. Head northeast from Minneapolis and don’t stop until you hit White Bear Lake, the clover-shaped summer retreat whose shores are lined with magnificent homes, fast cars, and one of golf’s all-time classic courses. This August, you’re invited to the Broken Tee Society’s fourth trip to White Bear Yacht Club. William Watson and Donald Ross contributed to the design here, Walter Hagen held the longtime club record and, if legends are to be believed, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s summer residence at the club inspired him to pen one of the greatest novels of the 20th century.
