Lone Star Links
Just 15 minutes south of downtown Dallas, Coore & Crenshaw transformed a former landfill into one of America’s most surprising golf courses. When Ben Crenshaw first surveyed the site, he said, “If that was an ocean, I’d swear we were standing in Scotland right now.” Sun-scorched fescue, dusty hardpan and whipping Texas wind make Trinity Forest feel more Dornoch than Dallas. It’s a favorite of Tour pros and presidents, Cameron McCormick plies his trade at the practice facility, and the locker room features some of the best shower pressure on the planet. This November, 108 BTS members will two-step through 27 holes at this Texas original.
