The Olympic Club

Official site of the 2024 Broken Tee 2-Man

April 8, 2024 | San Francisco, CA

Medal-Worthy

Historic, challenging and unmistakable, The Olympic Club reigns as the longstanding patriarch of San Francisco’s glittering golf scene. The club’s Lake Course has hosted six U.S. Opens, and Gil Hanse’s recent renovation has it primed to once again test the best at the 2028 PGA Championship and 2033 Ryder Cup. Once known for its canted fairways and devilish greens, the Lake now offers wider corridors, fewer trees, and more pin positions, all while retaining its singular character. The Ocean Course stands as a delightful companion and a must-play if you ever find yourself invited. As the nation’s oldest athletic club, Olympic has been entertaining guests for more than 160 years, and this April, it will entertain 180 Broken Tee Society members as the host venue for the seventh annual Broken Tee 2-Man. After 18 holes on both layouts, two new teams will add their name to the BT2M trophy, and forever claim that they won at Olympic.

Aside from endless bragging rights, top-tier prizes like a new set of Titleist irons, and their name on a Scotty Cameron-welded trophy, all winners receive a lifetime exemption into future Broken Tee 2-Mans. Past locations of the 2-Man include Sleepy Hollow, Baltimore Country Club, Hazeltine National, Trinity Forest, Ballyhack and Goat Hill Park.
