Sullivan County

TGJ Home Game

It’s been more than a year since TGJ Editor Tom Coyne became the owner and operator of the nine-hole Sullivan County Golf Club in the Catskills, and he’s been busy. With the help of friends throughout the golf business and longtime SCGC champion Shaun Smith, TC has rebuilt Sullivan County into the platonic ideal of small-town municipal golf. Trees are down, new holes are in play, and greens are firm. Plus a new driving range and putting course all await the Broken Tee Society’s second trip to Sullivan County. It’s time to grab your half sets and head to the mountains for another round of golf summer camp, Coyne-style.
