The BTS Club Championship

This year, our champion will be crowned at one of the game’s most revered settings. Winners at 2026 BTS Club Championship qualifying events are invited to Plainfield Country Club—a classic Donald Ross restored by Gil Hanse with pure greens, striking bunkers, and an immaculate routing. Once the title is decided over 18 holes, we’ll gather on the patio for a toast to the newest names etched in BTS history. We’ve been once before. This time, we’re coming back with everything on the line.

About the Club Championship

Since the earliest days of golf, every club worth its salt has crowned a champion. For the Broken Tee Society—thousands strong and scattered across the globe—naming our finest requires something a bit more involved. This August, 108 members will take on the Ross design and Hanse restoration of Plainfield Country Club. After last year’s thrilling finish in the rain at Chechessee Creek Club, 2026 is sure to bring even more anticipation. Only two players will earn the right to be called BTS Club Champions and forge their place in BTS history.
