A Chicago Institution
Flossmoor, incorporated in 1899 and host of the 1910 Women’s Amateur, 1920 PGA Championship and the 1923 US. Amateur, has stood the test of time. It still flaunts 14 of its original hole corridors and small, quirky green complexes that harken back to the days when Bobby Jones and Francis Ouimet did battle here.
With recent changes made to suit the modern player while keeping its classic character, Flossmoor is ready to add the Broken Tee Society to the list of Hall of Famers who have played here.

Flossmoor’s greens have been fooling players for a century, so we’re enlisting some experts to help out. Every twosome in the field will be paired with an Evans Scholars caddie, free of charge, thanks to the generosity of our friends at BMW and the Western Golf Association.
Since 1930, the Evans Scholars Foundation has provided young caddies with college tuition and housing scholarships at some of the most prestigious institutions across the Midwest. We’re proud to be partnering with this historic foundation, and know that these caddies will enhance an already special day at Flossmoor.

Noisy Neighbor
While Flossmoor keeps a low profile, you certainly know the club that sits a par 4 away down Vollmer Road: Olympia Fields has hosted six majors between the men and women, plus the 2015 U.S. Amateur. With its impeccable conditioning, bouncy fairways and small, undulating greens, locals know Flossmoor can hang with any course in the area.
