The Broken Tee 2-Man at Pasatiempo
Alister MacKenzie built cathedrals of the game at Augusta National, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne—but he put down roots at Pasatiempo. Both MacKenzie and his longtime collaborator Marion Hollins kept homes alongside the fairways snaking through the Santa Cruz foothills, and after a 2024 greens restoration by Jim Urbina and superintendent Justin Mandon, Pasatiempo is playing just as the good doctor intended. This July, Broken Tee Society Premium members have a chance to join the eighth annual Broken Tee 2-Man, where 108 participants will tangle with 18 publicly accessible holes that stand up to anything in MacKenzie’s portfolio. Enter the lottery and sharpen your grooves—maybe yours will be the next name etched into Broken Tee 2-Man history.

Aside from endless bragging rights, top-tier prizes like a new set of Titleist irons, and their name on a Scotty Cameron-welded trophy, all winners receive a lifetime exemption into future Broken Tee 2-Mans. Past locations of the 2-Man include The Olympic Club, Sleepy Hollow, Baltimore Country Club, Hazeltine National, Trinity Forest, Ballyhack and Goat Hill Park.
