Broken Tee Society member and two-time Broken Tee 2-Man champion Brent Borgstahl faced the full teeth of the elements in the latest edition of Playing 18, but that’s what makes Irish links golf and St Patrick’s unforgettable.

Carved from some of Ireland’s most dramatic dunes along Sheephaven Bay, Tom Doak’s 2021 masterpiece transforms previously underutilized land into a links experience rivaling the best of the Emerald Isle. St Patrick’s is Doak’s inaugural design on Irish soil, a long-awaited fulfillment of his dream to sculpt a course that harmonizes with the dunes of Ireland. In the face of nature’s fury, the course revealed its wild beauty, a testament to both its challenge and its growing allure in worldwide rankings.
