Official Rules
Eligibility: The Promotion is open to all members of The Golfer’s Journal who are 21 years of
age or older and residents of the continental United States as of May 13, 2026. Employees,
officers and directors of Sponsors, their parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies,
advertising, promotion, or production agencies, web masters/suppliers and their IRS
dependents and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and individuals
residing in their same household (whether or not related) are not eligible to participate. By
entering the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official
Rules. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Must be a member of The Golfer’s
Journal to be eligible. Participant must have been a member as of the date these sweepstakes
were first announced, May 13, 2026. Additionally, a new member whose subscription took effect
between May 13, 2026 and the date the winner is announced is ineligible. If these sweepstakes
are prohibited by law in the state where the winner resides, the prize is void. All federal, state
and local laws and regulations apply.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY.
Timing: The Golfer’s Journal / BMW NA Giveaway (the “Promotion”) begins on May 13, 2026
and ends on June 10, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
How to Enter: Simply be a subscriber to The Golfer’s Journal. Entries must be received and
recorded by Sponsors’ computer by June 3, 2026 to be eligible for the random drawing.
Sponsors’ computer is the official timekeeping device for this Promotion. No automated entry
devices and/or programs permitted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the
Sponsors and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. The name of the person
submitting a Promotion entry must be the authorized account holder of the email address used
to enter the Promotion, or entry may be deemed void in Sponsors’ sole discretion. In the event
of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, the entry will be declared made by the
authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Potential winners
may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that they are the authorized account
holder.
Alternate Method of Entry: Mail a 3″×5″ card with your name, address, phone number, and
email address to: The Golfer’s Journal BMW Giveaway, 191 Avenida La Pata, San Clemente,
CA 92673. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by May 30, 2026 and received by June 3, 2026.
Winner Notification / Odds: Potential Grand Prize winner(s) will be selected in a random
drawing on or about June 5, 2026 from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
Winner notification will be on or about June 8, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of
eligible entries. The random drawing will be conducted by The Golfer’s Journal whose decisions
are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. Potential Grand Prize winner will
be notified by mail or email at Sponsors’ sole discretion. If potential prize winner cannot be
reached after a reasonable effort has been made during ten (10) days from the first notification
attempt, such person may be disqualified, with an alternate prize winner selected. Only two
attempts for new alternates per prize will be conducted. If attempts fail, unclaimed prize will not
be awarded.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive:
- Be hosted by BMW from Friday, August 21 to Monday, August 24, 2026
- (2) Tickets Saturday and Sunday to the BMW Championship, including access to the
BMW 18th Hole Pavilion - Play the Course After the Pros: (2) Playing Positions in the BMW Monday-After Golf
Outing at Bellerive Country Club - Three (3) Nights Hotel (double occupancy)
- Round-trip economy air travel for winner and one (1) guest to St. Louis from the nearest
U.S. metropolitan airport - Approximate Retail Value: $7,697
Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
Expenses not stated are solely the winner’s responsibility. If a winner cannot accept the prize in
accordance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner
may be chosen. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as
provided herein at the Sponsors’ sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute the
prize (or a component thereof) for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should
become unavailable.
AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY / LIABILITY RELEASE AND PUBLICITY RELEASE: If a prize
notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if a prize winner is found not to be eligible
or not in compliance with these Official Rules, they may be disqualified with an alternate prize
winner selected.
Release: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsors, their
respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and
prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s
officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any claim or
cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize.
PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s
consent that their name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data may be used in any medium
for advertising and promotional purposes without additional notice, compensation or consent.
GENERAL: All federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. By receipt of any prize,
winners agree to the use of their name, likeness, and biographical information for advertising
and promotional purposes without further notice or compensation except where prohibited by
law. By participating, entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released
Parties for any and all liability or loss.
LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected
entries or technical issues that may interfere with participation. Sponsors reserve the right to
suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion if necessary due to fraud, technical failures, or
other factors.
Choice of Law and Dispute Resolution: This Promotion is governed by the laws of the United
States and the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively before a court located
in California.
Use of Data: Sponsors will collect personal data in accordance with their privacy policy at
https://www.golfersjournal.com/privacy-policy/. By participating, entrants agree to data usage as
outlined.
Winner Info: On or about June 19, 2026, you may obtain the name of the prize winner by
mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Golfer’s Journal, 191 Avenida La Pata, San
Clemente, CA 92673. Requests received after July 19, 2026 will not be honored.
