Introducing a limited-run capsule that celebrates the mis-hits, epic recovery shots and beautiful imperfections of the game. From off-center designs to great recoveries in the form of recycled plastics, we know the next shot is the most important one.
REFUSION Founder, Julie Ellis
As a conscious creator and mother of two, Julie was motivated to play her part in creating better recycling solutions. With a background in design, she was always interested in textiles and began developing a way to turn plastic bags into fabric. After hundreds of trials and countless hours of experimenting, REFUSION was born.
Hand Sewn in the USA
This product was proudly made in the USA by a local artisan. While some of us were teeing it up at Goat Hill in Oceanside, CA, Julie was busy hand sewing each yardage book and pouch in this collection just one mile away.
100% Recycled Plastic
Thanks to REFUSION, we were able to repurpose piles of plastic from TGJ’s warehouse meant for the landfill. Julie’s patent pending technology upcycled our waste into fabric so it can live another life. It’s the only kind of mulligan we’re ok with.
Our comfortable USA-made cotton hoodie and shirt silhouettes feature off-center prints of TGJ cover No. 9 and the wild persona of Hunter S. Thompson, while the hat makes an epic recovery shot with its recycled cotton fabric. It’s not a game of perfect, but there’s beauty in imperfection.
