Rick Reilly: So Help Me Golf
The Main Stage is the place to be this Thursday morning at 11 AM ET, as we welcome Rick Reilly in for a live interview. A true golf junkie, Rick has been playing and covering the game since childhood, and the latest of his many books serves as his love letter to the game. It’s filled with travel stories, tales from inside the ropes, and anecdotes on what makes this game so special to him, and to all of us. His chat with Tom Coyne on Thursday is not to be missed.

A baltimore blowout
Last Monday, 160 Broken Tee Society members brought their games, and their rain gear, to historic Baltimore Country Club for the fifth annual Broken Tee 2-Man.
In the gross division, Tanner Grimmius and Brent Borgstahl put together consecutive 70s to defend their 2021 2-Man victory. They have already committed to going for the threepeat in 2023.
The net side of things saw Baltimore CC member Dan Taylor pull off a local knowledge up-and-down on the first playoff hole to defeat the pairing of Corey Walsh/Kevin Van Valkenburg. Taylor and partner James Corry will be going to Pinehurst for three days on behalf of BMW.

bts book club: barbarian Days
The recording of our latest Broken Tee Society Book Club discussion is now live. On Sunday the 23rd, we chatted about William Finnegan’s Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life. The book chronicles Finnegan’s lifelong, globe-spanning search for waves, and paints vivid sketches of the people and cultures that shaped him during these journeys. TGJ publisher Brendon Thomas joined the discussion and offered invaluable insight from the mind of another surfing devotee.
